All packages that do not fit in the mailbox will be securely held behind locked doors. Package will be photographed, date stamped, and Customer will be notified immediately. First Week of storage is Free, $1/day additional per package, per day, balance due before return. No storage charges if you use our Mail Forwarding Services.

Scheduled for last day of every month (or nearest business day), all received mail will be forwarded to customer's preferred address using customer's preferred shipper. We will make every attempt to consolidate packages and remove 'dead air' in the return shipment. Flat $15 monthly fee plus any associated Shipping Costs. Invoiced as needed, balance due before delivery.

All envelopes are photographed as they arrived, and the contents are opened and scanned into a multi-page PDF file and emailed to the customer no more than once a day. The now scanned documents are date stamped and stored in Customer's Mailbox for later retrieval. Maximum 30 items scanned per week before extra service charges are incurred. Subscription is invoiced during initial booking and subject to automatic renewal until cancelled. We do not scan periodicals or publications sent to you.

Form a new LLC, partnership (general or limited liability partnership), nonprofit, or sole proprietorship and don't want to be served legal paperwork (subpoenas, lawsuits, tax liens) at your rental place? PhillyBox staff can be listed as your new companies Registered Agent for service of process under the Rules of Civil Procedure in your filing paperwork. Every state requires an LLC to list a Registered Agent and Registered Office (the Registered Agent address). This information goes on public record, so that a process server, if needed, can serve your LLC. Only available with our Open & Scan Services and a minimum one year contract.

Email PDF's to be printed and postal mailed in a plain No. 10 envelope with a single Forever stamp via USPS during regular pickups, using your PhillyBox address as the return address. All mailings happen on Friday and are billed $1 per Double Sided Black and White Laser Print Page, $2 per Double-Sided Color Laser Print Page, and a required $1 for Envelope/Stamp/Address Blocks. Invoiced weekly, doesn't ship until paid. Only available with our Open & Scan Services. Check our FAQ for job formatting instructions.

From repackaging and readdressing delivered packages, selective handling of recyclables, or securely shredding zero-day post office returns, our staff can be your on demand Office Assistant at a contracted hourly rate that'll please anyone's virtual H.R. budget! Hours are invoiced weekly in additional to a required Open & Scan Services contract.

As a security precaution, we completely replace deadbolts & keys where we no longer can account for all the copies of all keys; therefore lost and misplaced keys require a $30 fee for full replacement of both the deadbolts and any backup keys. The now insecure deadbolts and keys are permanently recycled.

Our Large Mailbox interior measures 12" x 11.5" x 11", which is larger than USPS 'Large' Post Mail Box (11" x 11" x 11"), for 50% of the cost, and accepts more shippers - UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon and More! See the image at the top of this web page for an example of the amount and variety of packages you can fit in a PhillyBox! The door opening is 9.25" x 10.75", so any package measuring larger than the door opening will be automatically considered 'Oversize' and be stored securely indoors for pickup, as well as be subject to storage costs.

As long as your package fits through our door (which measures 28" wide) we can accept it. Packages that don't fit through our door can be stored in the secured basement, which can accommodate larger packages but require a hand truck due to the steps. Management can accept extremely heavy packages as well, but any package over 200 lbs. will not be secured indoors and will require same-day pickup.

Yes, Management and Staff are over 21, so we can accept alcohol deliveries. However, we will require valid identification if the package requires you to be over 21 years of age, kids!

By law, we are required to see two forms of identification that include any two of the following (one must be a photo ID!) All ID's must be current (non-expired):

• U.S. Government I.D.: U.S. Government I.D. may be federal-, state-, or tribal-issued. These include:
  
  • Valid driver’s license, state non-driver’s identification card, U.S. Armed Forces card, Uniformed Service ID card
  • U.S. permanent resident or other identification card issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • U.S. certificate of citizenship or naturalization.
  • Identification card issued by a federally or state-recognized tribal nation (tribal identification card).
• University Student ID
• Passport (U.S. or foreign)
• Matricula Consular (Mexico): A Matricula Consular card is an identification card issued by the Government of Mexico through its consulate offices to Mexican nationals residing outside Mexico.
• NEXUS (Canada): NEXUS is a joint Canada Border Services Agency and U.S. Customs and Border Protection operated trusted traveler and expedited border control program. Customers may provide a NEXUS card as a form of identification for money orders. To be accepted, the NEXUS card must contain an identification number.
• Lease, mortgage, or deed of trust
• Voter or vehicle registration card
• Home or vehicle insurance policy
• Form I-94, Arrival and Departure

We will make photocopies of whatever you provide us, and store them securely for the duration of your business with us. Social security cards, credit cards, corporate IDs, and birth certificates are NOT acceptable forms of identification.

Shipments from the wide variety of shippers that we accept (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon, USPS) unfortunately arrive at random times during the day, and cannot be reliably tracked. We require delivery people ring our bell with each delivery, and will notify you within minutes of the receipt of your package. This might happen multiple times a day, as we cannot 'group' photo notifications of packages.

Yes! Most business entities are required to register an official mailing address with the state, and that address is part of the public record. Once there, the marketing begins by snoopers tracking new business registrations - endless offers for high-interest credit cards and overpriced office supply catalogs. Plus, a business's use of an invalid address could result in legal problems, like the loss of limited liability protection. A PhillyBox used in association with our Open & Scan Services and Virtual Mailbox services, you could enjoy the credibility of operating your Small Business in West Philadelphia, but enjoy working in fancy Bel Air!

No, Not really; There are no open mail slots on our PhillyBoxes, so any and all deliveries will have to be presented to PhillyBox Management during business hours to be included in that days disbursements. We have several cameras constantly monitoring the area, so 'anonymous' might not mean 'unidentifiable'...

Our PhillyBox keys are not duplicatable by your local locksmith, as it's a "reserved keyway" and additional keys must be ordered directly from the manufacturer using the key code on your original keys. They cost 4-5x more than usual blanks and they take weeks to replace (even for us!).

If you're already a PhillyBox holder, subscribing to our Open & Scan Services, you can send an email to us, with the subject: Virtual Mailbox. The sending/mailing address (where the letter is addressed to) must be the only text content of the email, and the printed correspondence must be an attached PDF file to that same email. Instructions on number of copies and color preferences can be included below the address. Our plain envelope will have your PhillyBox address as the return address, and be stamped with a single Forever Stamp. Total package weight cannot exceed 1 ounce. We will respond to the email with a USPS tracking number of the resulting envelope for your records.

We will leave a notification in your mailbox informing you of this! The mailbox door opening is 9.25" x 10.75". Any package measuring larger than that will be automatically considered 'Oversize' and be stored securely indoors for pickup, as well as be subject to storage costs. Ring Suite A doorbell during business hours (M-F 12-6p) for PhillyBox Management. You can also respond to any automated Package Arrival Notifications to negotiate after hours or early morning pickups with PhillyBox Management to suit your schedule.

We have written up a detailed instructions for filling our USPS Form 1583 for all new customers. We break down the sections required by you, and how to fill it out and get it notarized, if need be.

You may inform PhillyBox Management on duty during business hours during any pickup. You can also send an email to PhillyBox Management from your registered email address with your requested last date of service. We do not refund unused contracts at the time of cancelation. At the end of your contract, we will refuse any non USPS deliveries (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon) but accept any USPS addressed mail for a period of six months to be forwarded to you using our Mail Forwarding Services each month it is required. You will be invoiced prior to each shipment, and continue to receive regular arrival notifications. Customer will not file a change of address order with the post office, as agreed to in your initial contract.
